Jim Reed has lived his entire life in the Shoals area, graduating from Sheffield High School and attending The University of North Alabama.  After serving two years of active duty in the US Navy, Jim returned to the Shoals and spent thirty years owning and running Reed Marine Construction, Inc.  During that time, Jim built a reputation of honesty and fairness and had a commitment to his customers for building boathouses and retainer walls second to none in quality.  Jim also worked twenty two years at Reynolds Metals Company and is married to Susan, also an agent with Neese Real Estate.
